We used a few different types such as:
The task we were given was to create our own fake blood to use in our OTS. we were given a recipe for each type of fake blood, our group was given the cheap and easy/ coffee blood, we then got to test our bloods, the criteria was to make sure it was edible and can look like actual blood on camera.
WWW
We did the coffee blood which is cheap and easy, in our opinion we think that this is the best as it produced a blood like texture and the splatter effect looked real as well as having the better looking colour of all the others. It was quick and easy to make and is cheap too meaning it can be made in large quantities
What did we learn
We learnt what makes good fake blood and what is the best to use as well as easiest to make and produce which was the cheap and easy/coffee for us. We learned that the gravy one wasn't very good as it wasn't very runny and it was quite lumpy and it didn't look like authentic blood.
