Risk assessment

The risks involved in filming our OTS were:
  • Trip hazards given that some shots were filmed running outdoors
  • The damaging of filming equipment
  • cut hazards on the fence
  • damp and muddy grass could cause a slipping hazard

To prevent these hazards we can:
  • Ensure that all scripted running/walking paths are cleared of any major objects on the floor
  • All equipment must be either worn with a lanyard or fixed securely onto a tripod
  • Thorough checks must be made to ensure that no fence links are broken or loose before filming any shots
  • Appropriate footwear should always be worn when in any outdoor running sequences such as boots or large but fitting shoes of some description.
