metacritic ratings

Metacritic is a website that reviews films, games and music. it takes hundreds upon thousands of reviews that have been written across the internet and combines them all together to give a rating that is supported by the majority of the reviews.
This is a screenshot of the top 25 films of all time, according to the website, as you can see there are no horror films on this list which means that horror films are becoming less interesting nowadays. We now need to produce a really good horror film that will capture the public eye. After researching the highest rated  horror films it is obviously apparent that there is a significant lack of serious zombie movies that have a high rating on meta critic with the highest rated zombie movie being shaun of the dead as that is a comedy film.

the dead

This is the first film that i have found on metacritic that is a serious horror that is not a comedy and has a large focus on the zombies and how they are attacking people. Metacritic gave this film a rating of 59 and users of the site gave it a score of 6.3, this says that there are not many decent enough horror films that have zombies as the main focus as most good zombie film are horror comedies. we can use the reviews that the critics have given the film to see what went well in the film and where it went wrong which can give us an indication as to what we can include
